The Collaboration – The Young Vic Theatre
Woohoo! I’m composing for my second theatre show, a play called ‘The Collaboration’ at the Young Vic theatre in London. ‘The Collaboration’ is a play about the collaboration that took place between legendary artists Jena-Michael Basquiat and Andy Warhol in the 1980s, in New York. The two artists embark on an deeply personal and artist journey that re-draws both their worlds.
Directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah and written by Anthony McCarten starring actors Paul Bettany and Jeremy Pope, alongside Alec Newman and Sofia Barclay. I’m loving the process so far that is requiring me to pull on all facets of my imagination and musical ability. Click HERE for more information.
