Premiere of ‘Blush’ for Chineke! Orchestra @ Edinburgh International Festival 2021
My second commission for the wonderful Chineke! Orchestra had it’s first outing under the magical hands of conductor Bill Eddins at Edinburgh International Festival. Chi-chi Nwanoku (founder of Chineke!) and I had a fantastic catch up on Insta Live and I’m over the moon with the premiere. To have my piece open proceedings for a rare performance of Judith Weir’s ‘Woman. Life. Song’ is just beyond words and Judith is such a babe!
